Additional setup

Most apps need nothing here. Install Studio covers what every app needs, and each page in this topic is for one situation. Use this page to find out whether yours is one of them.

Do you need any of these?

• If your site loads a cookie banner, a chat widget, analytics or a tag manager, they run on the Studio canvas too. See Keep third-party scripts out of the canvas.
• If authors edit your pages in Visual Editor, the values Studio shows need edit tags before Visual Editor can edit them. See Make bound values editable in Visual Editor.
• If the canvas won't load your app over http://localhost, or your app needs HTTPS to work, see Serve your canvas over HTTPS locally.
• If your app isn't ready yet, you can still build a template on Studio's own Playground canvas. See Try Studio without an app.
• If you'd rather have a coding agent install Studio for you, see Set up Studio with skills.

If none of these is you, go on to Go live when you're ready to put your site in production.
